ABOUT MITCH

Portland Licensed Therapist Mitch Bacon has been working therapeutically with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families for the past 10 years.  Mitch found while working as a wilderness therapy guide in Idaho that when people deepened their relationship with the natural world, an opportunity arose to be resilient and healed.
Mitch Bacon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Colorado College, in Colorado Springs, Colo. Living in Colorado instilled a love for being in the mountains.
Mitch completed his Master of Arts in Marriage, Couples, & Family Therapy from Lewis & Clark College, in Portland, Oregon. Mitch is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Oregon and Washington. Recently he has been trying to keep up with his two young sons. Fathering them has created a vibrancy to life and the joy of watching them grow. Along with his partner, acupuncturist Allie Machen, they value spending time gardening, walking in the forest, reading books, cooking, and playing soccer.
